By downloading or using the Wandr app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

Wandr is a travel planning application. It lets you generate AI itineraries, hand-pick places and build your own day plans, plan trips together with other people, track shared expenses, and keep a trip journal. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial travel planning. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to circumvent plan limits, scrape or resell its content, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws.

2. User Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use Wandr. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that takes place under it. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

3. Plans, Limits and Pricing

Wandr offers the following plans:

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's billing policies. The amount actually charged is the price shown in Google Play at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play Store → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.
• Trip and day limits reset monthly. Unused trips do not carry over.
• Free-tier users may watch rewarded advertisements to earn additional trips and additional trip-length days, up to the monthly caps shown above. Bonus trips and days reset monthly and cannot be transferred or refunded.
• A one-time itinerary export may be purchased separately for ₹49.
• Prices, plan limits and promotional offers may change. Changes will not affect the period you have already paid for.
• Pro 3-Year plan: this plan has been discontinued and is no longer offered. Existing 3-Year subscribers keep their plan and benefits (30 trips per month, 14 days per trip) until it expires.

4. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy

Wandr uses AI (OpenAI) together with map and place data (Google) to generate travel itineraries and to estimate how long places take to visit. The generated content is for informational purposes only and may contain errors or outdated information, including but not limited to:

• Places — a suggested attraction may be closed, renamed, or may not match the intended place;
• Timings — arrival times, visit durations, travel times, and opening/closing hours may be inaccurate or out of date, including seasonal, weekly and holiday variations;
• Feasibility — a day plan may be more strenuous, or take longer, than the app estimates. Permits, queues, weather, terrain, fitness and local conditions are not fully modelled;
• Map locations — coordinates (latitude/longitude) and map pins may be misplaced;
• Costs — entry fees, ticket prices, transport fares, booking amounts, and budget estimates are indicative only and may differ from actual prices.

Always verify places, timings, locations, accessibility and prices independently — through official websites or by contacting the venue — before travelling or making any booking or payment. Wandr is a planning aid, not a source of confirmed travel information, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated itineraries. You are responsible for your own safety and for assessing whether an activity is suitable for you and your group.

5. Group Trips and Collaboration

Wandr lets you plan a trip with other people. By creating or joining a group trip you accept the following:

• Visibility. Other members of a group trip can see your name and profile picture, your chat messages, your votes, the expenses you add or are included in, your shared journal entries and shared checklist items. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
• Owner rights. The person who creates a group trip is its owner. The owner may invite and remove members, change trip settings, and delete any content within that trip, including content added by other members.
• Invitations. Only invite people who are willing to be added. Do not use invitations to send unsolicited messages.
• Leaving a trip. If you leave or are removed from a trip you lose access to it. Content you already contributed may remain visible to the remaining members as part of the group's shared record.
• Public trips. You may choose to make a group trip public, which makes its basic details discoverable by other Wandr users so that they can ask to join. This setting is off by default and you can turn it off again at any time. Do not include personal contact details, home addresses or other sensitive information in a public trip.

6. Expense Tracking

Expense entries, splits and balances are calculated from what members enter. We do not verify amounts and are not responsible for errors, disputes, unpaid balances or any financial loss arising between members of a trip. If a calculation looks wrong, check the underlying entries before relying on it.

7. User Content and Conduct

"User content" means anything you add to the app — chat messages, journal entries, trip and place names, checklist items, expense descriptions and any photos you attach.

You retain ownership of your user content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display and transmit it solely for the purpose of operating the app — for example, showing your message to the other members of your trip. We do not use your user content for advertising and we do not sell it.

You agree not to post content that is:

• unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful or defamatory;
• sexually explicit, or harmful to minors;
• an infringement of someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
• spam, advertising, or a scam or phishing attempt;
• impersonating another person, or deliberately false.

We may remove content that violates these Terms and may suspend or terminate accounts that do. You can report content or a user from within the app, and we will review reports and act where appropriate. We are not obliged to monitor user content proactively.

8. Trip Journal and Photos

Photos you attach to a trip journal are stored only on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. We cannot recover them if you uninstall the app, clear its data, or change phones — backing them up is your responsibility. Journal text is stored on our servers so that it survives a change of device.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the Wandr app, including design, logos, and software, is owned by Wandr and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. User content remains the property of the respective user, subject to the licence in section 7. Place data, photos, maps and ratings are supplied by Google and remain subject to Google's terms.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep Wandr available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be changed, limited or withdrawn, and the app depends on third-party services (Google, OpenAI, Google Play) that may themselves be unavailable. We may impose reasonable technical limits to protect the service from abuse or excessive cost.

11. Limitation of Liability

Wandr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including any issues arising from AI-generated itinerary content, inaccurate place or timing information, disputes between members of a group trip, or amounts recorded in the expense feature. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Advertisements

Free-tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob, and may choose to watch rewarded advertisements to earn additional trips and days. Pro subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. You may stop using the app and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Terminating your account does not automatically cancel a subscription bought through Google Play — cancel that separately in the Play Store.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
